We just got our first measurable snowfall of the Winter. I really don’t want Fall to leave us so soon. I decided to dig back into the archives to find a previously unreleased photo from a Fall air to air photoshoot I did a year ago and try some new-to-me editing techniques I’ve picked up over the past few months.

Nice! Just for curiosity, which editing techniques are you talking about?
Marco Neri I use Lightroom and the Nik Collection. I processed this photo as I usually do but I tried some new things with the tone curve and did some split toning in the the shadows. I was aiming for a bit of a vintage film-like look.
John Chvatal Thank you! Interesting! Anyway I would say “Well done” since you’ve been able to maintain a “natural” effect!
Marco Neri one of the biggest struggles I have is knowing how far to “push” things before the photo looks fake. 🙂
John Chvatal I agree with you that that is the point, most of the times.
