Douglas Skyraider at AirExpo 2016
While I was there I had a chance to try out Tamron Lenses USA’s 150-600mm lens for Canon. I have to say I’m impressed with it! This particular photo was taken at 182mm on a Canon 70D at 1/25th of a second!
The one drawback is the zoom ring turns the opposite direction when compared to Canon and Sigma lenses. For this simple reason, I will likely not be purchasing this lens.

I have a D-810 and love the thing. My lenses aren’t left handed, you sure you didnt get a lefty lens?
John Holtke didn’t know there was such a thing as a lefty lens.
My Sigma lens zooms in when turned clockwise. The Tamron was the opposite.
John Holtke upon further examination I do have a lens that turns the opposite direction from my other lenses.
It was weird that I struggled so much when using the Tamron lens when it came to the zoom ring…. Can’t ever remember having so much trouble.
Beautiful!
Thanks Jacob Anthony!
